Construction:
The Water Quality
Advisory has been lifted!
The signs have been taken down and the community now has safe,
treated water. As we describe in
Project Report #3, homeowners should now thoroughly flush the
pipes in their homes prior to any consumption. The contractor will
return in the spring to complete some clean up around the new
building.

Construction:
The water meter chamber and surrounding watermains on the south side
of Timber Ridge Road have been installed. Testing of this portion of
the watermain is currently underway. Once testing is complete, BWC
will connect the Timber Ridge water system to Parr’s. The Water
Quality Advisory will not be lifted until the RDEK completes
flushing and performs testing on the entire Timber Ridge system.

Construction: BWC
has completed the watermain installation at the intersection of
Timbermont Drive and Lakeview Drive. Delivery of the water meter
chamber, which will be installed on the south side of Timber Ridge
Road, is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, Saturday, November 6. BWC
intends to work Saturday and Sunday to install the meter chamber and
related watermains.

Construction:
BWC has completed the watermain installations & testing in Timber
Road and along the north side of Timber Ridge Road. The
intersection has been repaired and paved. Next week, BWC will be
onsite in Phase 3 to do the emergency connection work at the
intersection of Timbermont Drive and Lakeview Drive. Delivery of
the water meter chamber, which will be installed on the south side
of Timber Ridge Road, has been delayed to Saturday, November 6. BWC
intends to work Saturday and Sunday that weekend to install the
meter chamber and related watermains

The contractor, B.
Wickhorst Contracting, has been on site for
two weeks.
Watermain installations in Timber Road are complete, except for the
tie-in. Work is now moving ahead along the north side of Timber
Ridge Road.

Water Meter Installation:
The water meter installation project is now
complete. Over 98% of the residences had their meters installed.

Construction:
The delivery of the
water meter station has been pushed back by the supplier, so
construction start will be delayed a few weeks. Construction is
still scheduled to begin in September and with completion this
fall. We will provide a more detailed schedule once we have the
delivery date confirmed.

Construction:
the tender for the construction to connect to Windermere Water and
Sewer Company (WWSC) closed on July 5. The RDEK and Urban Systems
Limited (USL) are reviewing the bids and the contract is expected to
be awarded at the August Board meeting with construction scheduled
to start in September.
