Development Clerk - Permanent

Reporting to the Planning & Development Services Manager and the Planner 2, the Development Clerk provides client-focused planning and development services requiring a thorough knowledge of RDEK zoning bylaws, land use regulations, application procedures, and personal computers and related applications.  Based out of the Cranbrook office, the work includes examining building permit applications for compliance with RDEK land use regulations; responding to public inquiries; assisting with the initial processing of land use applications; and data entry.
