Detached Secondary Suites

Generally speaking, secondary suites within a single family dwelling are currently permitted on most properties within the Electoral Area E Zoning Bylaw.  The Regional District is proposing to permit detached secondary suites where secondary suites are already a permitted use excluding the community of Wasa.  The use of secondary suites is not proposed to change within Wasa as during the consultation process, residents cited concerns regarding increase in density, water usage, vehicle and lake traffic.
