Sewage Collection and Disposal Systems

The Regional District manages the sewer systems for residents of Edgewater and Holland Creek (Lakeview Meadows). We do not control or licence in-ground septic facilities. Anyone with inquiries on these facilities should contact their local Public Health Officer.

System Highlights:

Baltac

We are in the process of installing a sewer system for the community of Baltac. The sewage will be treated by Windermere Water and Sewer Company. Click here for project updates.

Holland Creek (Lakeview Meadows)

The RDEK collects the sewage, which is then treated at the Kinbasket Sewage Treatment Plant.

Edgewater

The RDEK owns and operates the sewage collection and treatment systems.

Any questions regarding hook ups, connection fees and user fees should be directed to Columbia Valley Office.
