Office of the CAO

Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Shawn Tomlin is the senior official for the Regional District of East Kootenay and provides leadership and support to both the staff and the Board of Directors.

He has the responsibility of coordinating the work of staff and ensuring the Board's Strategic Priorities are carried out. He is the primary advisor to the Board of Directors, assists them with public policy and ensures they have the information, resources and tools they require to make informed decisions on behalf of the electorate.

The CAO’s office has an Executive Assistant, Connie Thom.
