Transit

Public transit is essential for providing communities with access to vital services such as health care, education, and employment.   It also supports regional economic development by improved connectivity to businesses and recreation. 

The RDEK has three separate transit services:

• Columbia Valley Transit
• Elk Valley Transit
• Health Connections Transit Service

The Columbia Valley Transit and Elk Valley Transit services are provided through partnership between the Province, BC Transit, Transit Operator and the RDEK.

The Health Connections Service is provided through partnership between the Province, BC Transit, Interior Health, Transit Operator and the KERHD.
