Elk Valley Airport

The Elk Valley Regional Airport is located off Highway 43 on Lower Elk Valley Road between Sparwood and Elkford in Electoral Area A. The airport is not a commercial facility and although it is open during the winter months, there is limited winter maintenance.

There is a paved runway; however, because it is not lit, it is intended for day use only. 

The airport is used most frequently by small, private planes and in the summer months has been used by the Forest Service.
