Central Subregion Landfill

All of the waste collected at the municipal and rural transfer stations around the Cranbrook, Kimberley and surrounding rural areas is hauled to the Central Subregion Landfill, which is located at 600 Eager Hill Road, 10 km North of Cranbrook on Highway 93/95.

The Landfill is for commercial and contractor vehicles only and is not open to the public.

Hours of Operation:

9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday
9:00 am to 4:00 pm Saturday and Sunday
(closed Family Day, Thanksgiving Day, Remembrance Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day)

Concrete Disposal:

Concrete pieces must not exceed 50 cm (20 inches) in any dimension. This means all concrete must be no larger than:

• 50 cm × 50 cm × 50 cm
• 20 in × 20 in × 20 in
