History

Fairmont Path is a paved trail that when completed will extend from Fairmont Hot Springs core commercial area at the intersection Fairmont Resort Road south to the Fairmont Hot Springs Fire Hall. This project was initiated by the Fairmont Community Association and will provide a safe alternative to walking along highway 93/95.

Seasonal Hours

The Fairmont Community Path is operational year-round with snow removal beginning in early November and ending in April each year. The path is primarily for walkers and runners with some small non-motorized bike use.

Amenities

There are 2 kiosk signs as well as a number of bench seating for path users to utilize. There is limited parking available, so users are encouraged to leave their vehicles at home.

Park Etiquette
  • Please pack out all trash/recycling with you.
  • Please be respectful of other path users.
  • No alcohol or cannabis permitted. 
  •  Pets must be kept on a leash and cleaned up after.
  • No parking of vehicles on trail surface.
