Public Access to CV RDEK Office Has Changed

Effective immediately, public access to the RDEK’s Columbia Valley Office has changed and access will be by appointment only.

Please review the list below for some of the new processes that are now in place.

• Building Permits:
  • Building permits are now being processed through the Cranbrook office. Calls regarding payments should go to the Cranbrook reception desk.  I you would like to pick up your CV permit, they can be picked up at the CV office 8:30 to 9:30am Monday to Thursday by appointment.  Please calll 250-489-6902 in advance to make an appointment to ensure the permit is ready for pickup.  There may also be an option to receive permits digitally (if applicable) until you can collect them in person.
     
• Building Inspections:

• Utility Payments, Utility and Engineering Enquiries:
  • Anyone wishing to pay a utility bill can either pay online or book an appointment for an in-person payment at 250-489-6902.
  • For engineering and utility inquiries, please call 250-489-6902 to book an appointment.
     
• Solid Waste Payments
  • To may a payment in person at the CV office, please make an appointment by calling 250-489-6902.
