The Regional District of East Kootenay’s Wycliffe Regional Park is open to the public year-round.
“Wycliffe Regional Park is set in a beautiful location along Perry Creek and offers great winter recreation. We are happy to be able to offer a space for residents and visitors to get outside and enjoy the area year-round,” says Recreation and Control Services Supervisor Jamie Davies. “The addition of groomed winter trails are an exciting addition to our recreation services.”
The 164 hectare regional park is open to winter users with walking and snowshoeing trails, disc-golf and groomed fat-bike trails. Roads through the park are plowed to sites 2 and 3, outhouses are open and fire pits are available to users who bring their own wood.
The winter trail system is being maintained by Wildhorse Cycling Club and is currently posted on Trailforks.
Wycliffe Regional Park is located mid-way between Kimberley and Cranbrook on Perry Creek Rd. For more information about this park and its amenities visit www.rdek.bc.ca or call the RDEK offices at 250-489-2791.
