The Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK), with financial support from the Province of BC UBCM, are issuing a Request for Proposal to hire a Local FireSmart Representative (LFR) to support FireSmart activities in Electoral Areas C and E. The LFR will provide FireSmart services to Electoral Areas C and E. The LFR will provide expert guidance and support to residents in making their homes, neighborhoods and communities more resilient to the risks of wildfire.
